Comp-N-Choke began out of a love for hunting and outdoor shooting sports. Charlie Boswell, avid hunter and shooter since childhood, was looking for better performance from his shotgun. Extensive research on choke tube design and pattern performance led Charlie and his son, Stuart, to collaboratively create a unique, slot ported design. This design has provided excellent pattern performance to Charlie, a master class sporting clay shooter himself, as well as to many competition shooters and sportsmen worldwide since the mid 90’s.
With over 50 years combined experience, Charlie and Stuart have an extensive machining and manufacturing background, which has been invaluable in designing an efficient manufacturing process. Their experience and expertise were used to provide the best performing and competition-proven chokes at the most cost-effective price.
The desire at Comp-N-Choke remains to make a great performing product in the USA and provide people with a cost-effective way to improve pattern performance. All of our chokes are made in-house at our plant in Georgia with top of the line equipment to enable us to maintain our industry-leading quality standards.
